Welcome to our Rotary Club!

RIhomepage

Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

Our Club, Minneapolis Uptown Rotary, was chartered December 16, 1988, and is part of Rotary District 5980.  We have a strong commitment to community service, as demonstrated by our 20+ year commitment to the Joyce Uptown Food Shelf, and on international service projects.  The best part, though, is that underlying all we do is fun and fellowship!

Our weekly meetings (Thursdays at 7:30 a.m.) feature speakers addressing a broad range of topics- sports, agriculture, politics, food, art, health, business, science and limitless others. "You learn so much at Rotary!"

Our meeting room is on the second floor of the Minikahda Club, with large windows overlooking Lake Calhoun (and it's glorious sunrises!)  Please come and join us for breakfast, hear an interesting speaker, and meet some great people!
