On Thursday, November 20, 2025, we had a great turnout at Lakeside Center, in Uptown Minneapolis to celebrate Bob Barrie's induction to the Minneapolis Uptown Rotary Club. After a warm breakfast and good conversation around the table, we gathered to officially welcome him into the club and present his Rotary International pin!

Bob joins us with an impressive background as an Art Director at Fallon, with work that has helped shape campaigns for brands like TIME, Porsche, and even Hush Puppies. Safe to say he knows a thing or two about making an impact.   Additionally, Bob was inducted into the One Club for Creativity 2024 Hall of Fame!

The charter induction script was executed by our own Glenna Case, encouraging Bob to show up, get involved, and dive into service. Afterall, that’s where Rotary really comes to life: Service to our communities both local and across the planet. It felt especially fitting for someone whose career has been built on painting bold ideas, connection, and bringing stories to life on the world's canvas.

Bob didn’t waste much time getting into the rhythm with our club and its charities. After a well earned vacation on the heels of his induction, he's back in the fray--jumping in to volunteer. He's already made efforts with Joyce Uptown Foodshelf and the Every Meal program our club participates in at Ella Baker School. He has been getting connected and making an impact alongside fellow members regularly since his induction!

Whether serving our community, telling our story, or thinking creatively about service, we’re excited to have Bob bring his creative energy and passion for service to The Uptown Rotary Club.

Bob, we’re glad you’re here!
