Tim Mulcrone
Polio Plus

Tim Mulcrone is a 32‑year Rotarian, three‑time Rotary Club president, and the long‑time PolioPlus Chair for Rotary District 5950, dedicated to Rotary’s global polio eradication mission.

Tim retired from a career in law enforcement before moving into community service and Rotary leadership. He is a charter member of the Chanhassen Rotary Club, founded in 1987, having served three times as club president and on numerous club and district committees.

Since 2012, Tim has served as PolioPlus Chair for Rotary District 5950, which covers 71 Rotary clubs in Minneapolis and central Minnesota. In this role, he has been the primary advocate for Rotary International’s flagship initiative to eradicate polio, coordinating fundraising, public awareness campaigns, and community events.

Tim is known for creative and engaging presentations — from dressing as a leprechaun for Polio fundraising to appearing as Dracula at the “Conference for Especially Evil” in Las Vegas. His work has included organizing Polio Eradication billboards, city proclamations, and the lighting of the I‑35W Bridge in End Polio Now colors.
