What is the Minneapolis Uptown FunFest?
The FunFest is our signature annual fundraiser. It's an important event that powers our ability to keep showing up for this community year after year. This year it's Friday, July 10th, 2026 from 5:00–8:00 PM at the Lakeside Center in Uptown Minneapolis--and all are welcome.
It's Entertainment for all ages!
Music, great food, and a variety of games!
Win Big: Drawings and more for a chance to take home fantastic prizes.
Direct Impact: Every ticket goes directly toward supporting local Uptown children’s initiatives.
The best part is it's all for a great cause… Our community's children.

This will be an evening of community and celebration
This isn’t just a party. It’s a chance to directly invest in the children and families who make our neighborhood worth showing up for. Every ticket, every donation, every presence in that room makes a measurable difference in the lives of kids right here in Uptown Minneapolis.

★ Ready Set Smile
Providing on-site dental care and education to students in underserved Minneapolis schools. Because a healthy smile is the first step to a confident future.
★ Every Meal & Ella Baker School
Fighting food insecurity and supporting youth literacy programs — including fun, hands-on events like Junior Achievement’s BizTown! — because kids can’t learn when they’re hungry.
★ Joyce Uptown Food Shelf
Ensuring our neighbors have access to essential resources and nutritional support. Our club has been working alongside Joyce for more than two decades — because food security is a right, not a privilege.
★ Warm Hands, Warm Heads, Warm Hearts
Shielding the heads of homeless youngsters from the harsh Minnesota winters. A hat and a pair of mittens is a small thing that means everything to a child in the cold.
★ Youth Exchange and Leadership
Sponsoring students for life-changing experiences through Rotary Youth Exchange, Camp Enterprise, and RYLA — because investing in young leaders today shapes the community we all live in tomorrow.
Who We Are
The Minneapolis Uptown Rotary Club has been a cornerstone of this community for decades. We are a group of neighbors, professionals, and passionate people who believe that service is not just something you do — it’s who you are.
Our Minneapolis Uptown Rotary Foundation is our 501(c)(3) non-profit arm, dedicated to amplifying the work of local organizations that focus on education, health, and food security. We don’t just write checks — we show up, roll up our sleeves, and work alongside the organizations we support.
The FunFest is our signature annual fundraiser — and it is the event that powers our ability to keep showing up for this community year after year.
The Minneapolis Uptown Rotary Foundation’s efforts are built on the principle of
