On Saturday, May 3, 2025, Uptown Rotary members gathered for a morning of community service and camaraderie as part of our commitment to the Adopt-A-Greenway program, coordinated with the Midtown Greenway Coalition.
According to club member, Bill Blackburn, our club’s adopted segment--stretching from Calhoun Village Center to Lake of the Isles--was, "looking spiffy” after a productive cleanup!
Volunteers met behind Punch Pizza and spent the morning removing litter and debris, receiving smiles and grateful shout-outs from passing cyclists and pedestrians. It was a beautiful day for meaningful work and a great reminder of the impact we can have right in our own backyard.
