Joyce Uptown Food Shelf

The mission of Joyce Uptown Foodshelf is to provide emergency food to hungry people in Southwest Minneapolis. The food shelf provides clients with a three-day supply of nutritionally balanced food once a month. It will also make referrals to other agencies for additional services.

In addition to helping raise funds for the food shelf, Uptown Rotary members provides staffing every Thursday evening. 

Where does my donation go:

Joyce Uptown Foodshelf uses donated money purely to purchase food at a discount (less than $.20 per pound). Food occasionally is purchased at retail when required for nutritional balance.
