The Minneapolis Uptown Rotary Club, chartered in 1987, is known for our friendly atmosphere, our great speaker programs, and our lovely setting at the Minikahda Club overlooking Lake Calhoun. We're a small size club where everybody not only knows your name, but also how you and your family are doing. Mineapolis Uptown Rotarians are as commited to this atmosphere of friendship as we are to service in our community and the world.

Minneapolis Uptown Rotary has been a charitable force in our community for decades - it's a role we take seriously. Over the past years, we have committed to community service in our Minneapolis community.Through hands-on volunteer servce we keep our communit food shelf open one evening each week. In addition fundraising activitis support the purchase of food and supplies for the food shelf. Our communit work also extends to volunteer activities, dictionaries for third graders, and financial support for musical instruments and lessons for children at the Ramsey International School for the Fine Arts.

Minneapolis Uptown Rotary not only supports our local community, but also communities around the world. Through fundraising efforts in the recent past, we have dedicated thousands of dollars to international projects. We work with Books for Africa and Haiti Outreach to support literacy and clean water. We have partnered with the Ambur Rotary Club in Ambur, India to send computers to a hospital and school of nursing.  We are currently partnering again with Haiti Outreach to help fund a second new public school.
