Twin Cities Rotaract: North Minneapolis community involvement

Anika joined Twin Cities Rotaract in October, 2013 and became Professional Development Chair in Spring of 2014. She has 10 years work experience in nonprofits, international non-governmental organizations, and philanthropy. Walz most recently worked on civic engagement and leadership development efforts in Minnesota. Prior to this work she spent a combined four years managing holistic community led development projects in East Africa. Inspired by this work she is now working toward her Masters in Global Public Policy and Program Evaluation at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Walz strives to more effectively and efficiently connect the dots between idea and action for the common good and thinks Rotaract is the perfect place to do just that.  When not working, studying, or volunteering she plays with her pup and pretends to be Martha Stewart in her home in Robbinsdale.
