Mexican Consul for Economic and Public Affairs

International lawyer with strong background in international business, immigration issues in Mexico, diplomatic and foreign affairs.

Majored in Law (magna cum laude) from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, I continued studying a Ph.D. in International Law and International Relations at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.

In 2015, I became a member of the Mexican Foreign Service, working at the Legal Adivser's Office of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Previously, I served as Director for Europe, the Middle East & Africa at ProMéxico, as Business Executive at ProMéxico's Office in Spain, as private lawyer for some prestigious law firms, and as Junior Legal Advisor (of counsel) to PEMEX.

As well, in 2013 I founded Be Welcome!, a boutique law firm that provides legal assistance and business solutions to foreigners' community, expats and foreign companies in Mexico. 

In the academic field I have been professor of International Law at Universidad Panamericana (ESDAI).
